Liaoning Hongyu Refractories Group Co., Ltd. established in 1999, is a specialized ISO9001:2000 manufacturing enterprise for magnesia-based refractories from mining, production of raw material to finished product processing. It is located at the Magnesia Capital of China – Dashiqiao City, Liaoning Province with a total work force of more than 1000.Hongyu Group owns one mine with proven Magnesia storage capacity of 20 million tons and annual mining capacity of 400,000 tons, 8 sinter kilns for caustic calcined Magnesia, 4 sinter kilns for dead burned Magnesia, 2 sinter kilns for middle-grade magnesia, 24 sinter furnaces for fused Magnesia. In addition, the group is also equipped with two 66 KV substations, 3 plants for manufacturing MgO-C bricks and 4 high temperature tunnel kilns with advanced manufacturing equipment including German Laeis Hydraulic Press of 2500T (2 nos.) and 2000T (2 nos.) as well as other friction press machines and electric press machines of 30 nos.

The group is oriented with basic refractories and unshaped refractories with the annual production capacity of 300,000 tons, out of which 150000 tons are for shaped refractories and 150000 tons are for unshaped refractories. With advanced refractory manufacturing technology, high standard of production equipment and testing facilities as well as scientific management method and perfect quality control system, Hongyu Group can, based on the customer requirements, design and produce various kinds of refractories including MgO-C brick, Al-MgO-C brick, Al-SiO2-C brick for converters, EAFs, Ladles and foundry ladles and bricks for RH furnace.
